                Wuxi Metro is an urban rail service serving Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, China. Its first line was officially opened on July 1, 2014, making Wuxi the fourth independent company since Shenzhen, Suzhou, and Ningbo. Non-provincial provincial cities with metros.
                According to information from the official website of Wuxi Metro in October 2017, there are a total of 2 Wuxi subway lines, namely Wuxi Metro Line 1 and Wuxi Metro Line 2, both of which use the subway system to cover Binhu District, Nanchang District and Chongan District. The seven municipal districts of Xishan District, New District, Huishan District, and Beitang District have an operating distance of 56.22 kilometers and a total of 45 stations.

By 2020, the Wuxi subway will form four rail lines with a total length of 112.6 kilometers.
                In 2016, the annual passenger volume of Wuxi subway was 81.468 million passengers, and the average daily passenger volume was over 223,200 passengers. In 2015, its annual passenger volume was 71 million passengers, and the average daily passenger traffic was over 195,000. In the second half of 2014, the annual passenger volume was 17,705,000 passengers, and the average daily passenger traffic was over 97,000.
